FAQ
How old do you have to be to apply for the zine?
It's preferred contributors and moderators be at least 15 years old. However, the Finance Mod must be 18 or older.
-
How many contributors will there be?
This zine aims for 20 page artists, 5 merch artists, 7 writers, and 1 cover artist, along with 5 Guest Page Artists and 2 Guest Merch Artists!
-
How many pieces do contributors have to make?
Contributors are expected to make one piece for the zine (however if there is time are free to make another if they want), and writers are expected to do make their pieces about 3-3.5k words.
-
Can I apply for more than one role?
Yes! You can apply for as many positions you want, however, each person will only be allowed one actual role in the zine (ex. you cannot be both a writer and a page artist)
-
How will contributors be compensated?
Contributors will all receive free copies of the zine PDF as well as the merch. The profits made from sales will be given to the charity One Tree Planted.
-
Will the Zine be SFW?
Yes, the zine will not contain any NSFW of the sort and aims to be a simple, lighthearted, family-friendly fanwork. No heavy angst will be allowed either, although very light angst is up for debate.
-
Are ships allowed?
After some consideration, we have decided that no, there will not be any shipping content. While contributors are free to add interactions with their ships, they must be interpretable as platonic.
-
How much experience do you need?
While anyone's free to apply, for artists we are looking for at least a basic understanding of anatomy and colors, and to at least be able to draw some kind of coherent plant (given that's the theme of the zine). For writers, we ask your work to have proper paragraph spacing and a cohesive flow. However, we will be willing to offer critiques within the zine server for anyone who asks.
-
Can I share WIPs of my piece publically?
No, it's preferable that everything remains in the server, however you are still free to ask case by case.
-
How much will the zine cost?
The PDF by itself will be $15 USD, and the PDF with merch will be $20 USD.

My Question Wasn't Answered!
My apologies! If you would like more information, you're free to contact us on the zine's social media via commenting or DMing!
